1 Delete your account in the app
The fastest way — it takes effect immediately, no waiting and no email needed.
- Open Luckora and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap your avatar to open the Profile screen.
- On the DETAILS tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Read the confirmation and tap DELETE.
2 Request deletion by email
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, send us a deletion request. The message is written for you — the button opens whichever mail app you use.
If the button does not open your mail app, write to luckora.support@gmail.com yourself:
We may ask one follow-up question if we cannot identify the account from what you send. We will not delete an account on someone else's say-so.
Playing as a guest? A guest account has no email address attached to it, so there is nothing for us to verify a request against. Delete it from inside the app instead — see step 1.
3 What happens when you delete
The moment a deletion goes through:
- Your account is closed permanently. It can never be signed into again — not with your email, not on your phone, not by us. Any session still open stops working immediately.
- You are removed from every community you had joined. A community you owned passes to its longest-standing remaining member so the group keeps running; if you were its only member, the group is deleted with your account.
- You disappear from the leaderboard and from other players' rosters and member lists.
- Push notifications stop. We drop the notification token for your phone, so nothing is ever sent to you for this account again.
- Your points balance is gone. Points are not transferable and cannot be restored or carried into a new account.
If you install Luckora again later and sign in — with the same email, or on the same phone — you get a brand-new account starting from zero. The old one is never reopened.
4 What we keep, and why
Deleting closes your account rather than shredding the records behind it. The closed account and its match history stay in our systems, visible to nobody in the game, because:
- Games are played between people. A match's result, and the points other players won in it, would be wrong if one participant's records vanished.
- Security and anti-fraud. The closed record is what stops a deleted account being reopened or reused, and lets us investigate abuse.
- Legal obligations require us to retain limited records for a period.
For the fuller picture, see the Privacy Policy (§7 Data retention).
5 How long it takes
| Method | Account closed | Data erased |
|---|---|---|
| In the app | Immediately | Immediately |
| By email request | Within 7 days of us verifying the request | Within 30 days |
Backups are cycled on a rolling schedule, so a copy of erased data may persist in backup storage for a short period before it is overwritten. It is not restored to the live service.
